I built the same saw horses, but I used pressure treated 4x4 and 4x6 stock and made them all without power tools, except for a drill. Yes, they take much more time than one would think, but they are very robust saw horses in the end.

Donavan, I’ve been looking at this idea for a long while. One idea is to take a 2x4 and drill a series of holes along the center line of the face, next you rip along the center. You are left with two of those black thingamajigies as long as you want.

had a contractor call me 2 days ago. he needed 6 ft of chair rail that he can't get anywhere. I had to explain to him that I would have to have custom knives made @ about $200-$300 for the knives and an hour of shop time for $150. on top of that it would be a 2 week turnaround to get the knives. I think he quickly realized that he could replace all the chair rail in the room cheaper than making a 6ft custom piece.

The same happened to me but with a family member when their basement flooded..they needed 15' of obsolete base..I told them it would cost over $200 to match it with me doing it for free...they just didn't understand how it could cost that much...needless to say I didn't make it for them lol

Make sure to inspect your superstrut because some have burrs around the holes and would mar your panel.

We have a sawstop at the shop that does the same thing when it comes to the fence because it slides on rails on either side. Our fix is we get close to the measurement we want, lower the handle halfway, and tap the fence to where we want, then lower the handle all the way. What that does is it allows for the fence to square itself just enough that we can still tap the fence left and right to get our measurement exact

Glad you got your triple Hybrid (haha) put together and seem very happy with it. I would like to have had your old grizzly because my craftsman direct drive 10” 2 HP just died on me after 30 years. My fault, I was feeding wood in from the back for a special cut. Go visit Matt and don’t forget the donuts! BTW, why did you get the guard and then the saw stop? Did you have a close call? I was doing dado’s a few years ago and got overconfident for a split second. Lost two fingers. Hope your business is going well !

Thanks for the tour! How wide is the aisle you ended up with? How deep is the storage you built out on each side? Looks like maybe around 24" on the passenger side given width of the kapex? Not sure on the driver's side. Trying to sort out if I need a 7' wide or if I can do 6' as well for better maneuverability. Would you still order the same size trailer if you could do it again? I have the artisan and regret purchasing it. Not because of quality but for its price and similarities in other brands (like Husky) that do the same thing. The only thing that I’ve noticed of the belt is the quick release belt clip. It’s whatever. You can buy one and add it to your existing rig and it’s the same thing or don’t and you won’t feel the difference. Get a Husky or Dewalt and you won’t need to buy a $55 tape holder like diamondback’s that teeter totter with use. It’s expensive and gimmicky. Unnecessary. Purchase brand name tools instead of this purchase.

As I dip into CNC world as well as redo someone’s kitchen, I’d love to see a complete VCarve Pro playlist on all the different size cabinets as well as uppers, lowers and toe kicks on the CNC. Beats long process of manually doing it especially as a DIY’er and you can’t beat the exact measurements every time. Can’t wait for next VCarve Pro video.

Was following along rather well until 16:22 when you entered 23.250 for the height but I was expecting you to enter 22.750, because at 12:20 you entered 21.995 (the chart has 21.955, I think that is just a typo) for the height.
